Matt Eberhardt Joins Marotta Controls as Director of Business Development, Marine Systems

Montville, New Jersey (August 12, 2013) – Marotta Controls is pleased to announce that Matt Eberhardt, LCDR USN (ret.) has joined the Business Development team as Director, Marine Systems.  Matt will be responsible for supporting naval business development opportunities with government and industry partners.
Matt served in the US Navy for 21 years, holding various military shore and sea assignments of increasing leadership and responsibility.  Most recently he served on the USS LEYTE GULF as Operations Officer, where he led operations for a 300-person guided missile cruiser.  Prior to that Matt served on the USS THE SULLIVANS, also as Operations Officer, where he developed, organized and implemented a restructuring program, increasing productivity and efficiency throughout the ship.
A decorated surface warfare and naval operations officer, Matt has been honored with three Navy Commendation Medals and three Navy Achievement Medals.

Prior to joining Marotta Controls Matt was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Kilgore Flares Co.  In this capacity he oversaw the successful program start up for the Naval Countermeasures Segment – a new product area for Kilgore – as the Program Director for Naval Countermeasures.
Matt holds a BS in Finance as well as a Masters in Business Administration from Jacksonville University.
