MONTVILLE, N.J.—Dec. 11, 2024—Marotta Controls, a rapidly growing aerospace and defense supplier, today announced that its President and Chief Executive Officer, Patrick Marotta, has been appointed to the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) Executive Committee for 2025.

For over 100 years, AIA has been the voice of the American aerospace and defense industry. The organization plays a critical role in shaping policies, driving innovation, and supporting economic growth within the industry. Its Executive Committee, comprised of CEO-level officers from the nation’s major aerospace companies, provides strategic leadership to guide the AIA’s mission of advancing effective federal investments, promoting technological innovation, and enhancing global competitiveness.

Patrick Marotta is a third-generation leader of family-owned Marotta Controls. His father, Thomas S. Marotta, also served on the AIA Executive Committee and was a dedicated advocate for the aerospace community. Under Patrick’s leadership, Marotta Controls has grown to 800+ employees in 3 locations serving the United States’ leading aerospace and defense contractors. The company’s has received several significant industry recognitions including the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Regional Small Business of the Year award and a growing number of Lockheed Martin Supplier of the Year honors.
